Ben Preece personally operates and curates Waxx Lyrical, alongside a knowledgeable board of members who weigh in on Record of the Month selections and help shape our monthly, community-driven events.

Ben’s background includes founding Mucho Bravado, a management and publicity company that helped launch and develop talents like Hungry Kids of Hungary, Ball Park Music, Andy Bull, The Church, The Kite String Tangle, Eves Karydas, Asha Jefferies, WAAX, and Katy Steele (Little Birdy). With experience as a DJ, music programmer, festival curator, radio announcer and music journalist, Ben brings a wealth of industry knowledge to Waxx Lyrical. Most importantly, he’s driven by an unwavering passion for music. All this to say, you're in good hands.
