Forever Five: Georgia Davies of The Last Dinner Party

Georgia Davies of The Last Dinner Party poses for NME

Georgia Davies is the sole Aussie in British stars, The Last Dinner Party, holding it down on bass — and she's doing FOREVER FIVE this week.

Clearly she's proud of her homeland and ought to be appointed an official ambassador—she shouts out local bands and hometown haunts, and is still giving little ol’ us the time of day despite the meteoric rise of her band.

We featured The Last Dinner Party's exceptional debut album, Prelude To Ecstasy, as our Record Of The Month upon release in February 2024 and it was a huge addition to our selections. Happy to have her back to grill her on her five album keepers.

Her five? A glorious swirl of powerhouse women, Britpop bite, and Aussie grit. “Super random list, but such a big question,” she said — and she’s not wrong. She crushed it.
