We had a lovely chat with Tom Mahler, guitarist and vocalist of The Moving Stills, perhaps one of the nicest guys in Aussie music right now. We delved deep into the creation of their remarkable second album and our January 2024 Record Of The Month, Wabi Sabi. Like his lyrics, Mahler was comfortable and generous with his honesty and vulnerability about how songs are written, what he likes most about his own music and even what one of the song's outros has in common with Harry Styles, Phoenix and The 1975.
