The Jungle Giants kicked off their Love Signs era with ‘Heavy Hearted,’ dropping it as the lead single on 8 July 2019. Written, produced, recorded, and engineered entirely by frontman Sam Hales, the track saw the band leaning into dancefloor-ready indie pop.
 
Now a certified banger, the song made waves, going gold in Australia by January 2020. It cleaned up at the 2020 Queensland Music Awards, snagging both Song of the Year and Pop Song of the Year, while the remix EP took home Best Independent Dance or Electronica Album or EP at the AIR Awards.
